The IPS panel supports the passive 3D technology and the inexpensive 3D glasses somewhat reduce 3D resolution but does not require batteries and does not flicker. Asus also boasts a Full HD resolution, 5 ms (g2g) response time and 178/178 viewing angles. Power consumption has been reduced with the help of an edge LED backlighting system.
