Acer has released two new touch-enabled monitors that will be out later this month in time for the Windows 8 launch. As Windows 8 is heavily focused on touch, Acer believes that desktop users will find them attractive.

The all-in-one design is a mix between black and transparent colors with. The front glass covers both panel and frame and the stand is unusual to say at least. It lets you tilt the monitor backwards so it is easier to use the monitors as a touch screen.

Acer's monitors will be available later this month for $500 and $700 USD, respectively.
