Acer prepares for the Windows 8 frenzy with two new touchscreen PC monitors. The first is a 23-inch model called T232HL and the second is the 27-inch T272HL model. Are you ready to control your desktop PC with your fingers?

Acer T232HL & T272HL
Acer has released two new touch-enabled monitors that will be out later this month in time for the Windows 8 launch. As Windows 8 is heavily focused on touch, Acer believes that desktop users will find them attractive.

Acer T232HL

The all-in-one design is a mix between black and transparent colors with. The front glass covers both panel and frame and the stand is unusual to say at least. It lets you tilt the monitor backwards so it is easier to use the monitors as a touch screen.

Acer T272HL

The small 23-inch TL232HL uses an IPS panel with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The larger T272HL uses a VA panel and the same Full HD resolution. Both boast a 5 ms response time as well as HDMI, DVI and D-SUB (VGA) inputs. The HDMI inputs also allows users to connect Blu-ray players and game consoles.

Acer's monitors will be available later this month for $500 and $700 USD, respectively.

What do you say? Do you want a touch monitor for your PC?
