Only very few Google TV products exist to date but Asus will be joining the group soon, it seems. Asus has just received a FCC approval for a new product called Asus Qube, according to Engadget.
Asus Qube with Google TV
Details about a so-called Asus Qube has emerged and it seems that Asus aims to create a very small stick device that is inserted into the USB-port on the TV. After inserted the device will offer the full Google TV experience on the TV.
A picture of the internals
Few details are known at the moment but Engadget has done some digging and found that the current remote apps for Asus’ previous TV boxes also mentions support for the Qube. The Qube is believed to run on a Marvell Armada processor just like other recent Google TV products.
No words on price or availability yet but we welcome Asus to the TV arena.
