Panasonic says that the OLED panels has been produced with an ink jet print method. This basically means that the OLED pixels are printed onto a substrate. The printing method allows Sony and Panasonic to create small and large OLED-TVs as the production method is flexible. Panasonic also confirms in the press release that the 56” OLED panel has been developed in collaboration with Sony.

Panasonic also says that the OLED-TV has a brightness level of 500 cd/m2 which is more than adequate for living room viewing. The OLED TV is 8.9 mm thin and weighs 12,9 kilograms.

Panasonic refrains from talking about launch and pricing details.
