Asus brings some competition for Dell and Eizo. The new 24-inch PA249Q Pro Art monitor was officially launched at CES and comes with a pre-calibrated IPS panel and 1920x1200 pixel resolution.

Asus has been in the monitor-game for some time and continues to move forward. With the latest PA249Q, Asus hopes to challenge Dell, Eizo and NEC in the IPS segment.
Asus PA249Q comes pre-calibrated
PA249Q uses an IPS panel with 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The IPS panel has been pre-calibrated from the factory to ensure color accuracy. It supports the sRGB color gamut but also has an AdobeRGB color profile.
PA249Q also has four USB 3.0 ports.
Asus says that the new monitor will be available from March 2013 but has not announced pricing.
