AOC has announced a range of new monitors for 2013, including a 24-inch 120 Hz monitor for gaming, a 29-inch monitor in the 21:9 format and new IPS monitors.

AOC’s 2013 monitor line-up

The first highlight from AOC’s 2013 line-up is the 29-inch 21:9 format monitor. It is based on an IPS panel with a 2560x1080 pixel resolution. The monitor is obviously designed specifically for movie watching due to the wider “cinema” format. Look for the q2963Pm if you are interested.

It also comes with USB ports and inputs options such as DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and D-SUB (VGA). The 120 Hz monitor is called g2460Pqu.

A new monitor with MHL that enables you to connect an Android smartphone has also been announced. The monitor is part of the myPlay line and uses a 27-inhc IPS panel with Full HD. It’s called i2757Fm.

Lastly, AOC has announced two new IPS monitors. The first one is the i2360Phu targeted for office use. It has a 23-inch IPS panel and good ergonomic adjustability. The second one is called i2396Vm and is a cheap 23” IPS monitor for consumers. It also comes with MHL.

The new monitors will be exhibited at CeBIT 2013 in Hannover this March.
