Samsung has two new HDD recorders with built-in Blu-ray coming out in Europe, and FlatpanelsHD is first to reveal the new models. BD-F8900 has 1TB capacity and BD-F8500 has 500GB. Both come with a dual-tuner. <br /><br /><h3>Samsung BD-F8900 and BD-F8500</h3>Samsung will release updates to last yearâ€™s HDD recorders with two new models in glossy black designs where one corner is rounded. The cheaper BD-F8500 offers 500GB but is otherwise identical. Screen mirroring enables Galaxy smartphone/tablet owners to stream TV channels on the mobile device and also push media files from the mobile device onto the TV screen via the HDD recorder box. It is also possible to surf the web via the built-in limited web browser. WiFi is integrated in both players.<br /><br />Samsungâ€™s new HDD recorders will be available in Europe around April. No words on pricing yet.
