FlatpanelsHD has received Eizo’s first “flicker-free” monitor, EV2436W, with IPS panel and EyeCare. The PC monitor aims to eliminate eye fatigue by not using PWM for controlling the LEDs.

Monitors with LED backlight can cause headaches and eye fatigue due to PWM (more on the subject in this article). With three new IPS monitors and two new TN monitors, Eizo aims to eliminate flicker caused by PWM. We will be looking at the 24-inch EV2436W with IPS panel.
