Panasonic has a range of TVs with 4K (Ultra HD) resolution coming. According to Nikkei, Panasonic aims to launch 4K TVs from 50â€ť sizes and up.

Panasonic is almost synonymous with plasma TV technology but according to the report Panasonicâ€™s first 4K TV will be a LCD model with LED backlighting. Plasma technology can theoretically scale to 4K resolution in large TVs but power consumption raises drastically and brightness levels are too low for daytime viewing.
