The goal is to optimize the sound experience during gaming. When the Xbox One launches in November, Polk will develop specific sound profiles for games. The two first games will be the racing game Forza and the first person shooter gamer Halo.

A new soundbar and new headphones

One of the new products is the N1 soundbar that comes in two design variants; one all-black and the other one vanilla with wood.

The specifications list for the new soundbar has not yet been released but we are told that it delivers performance on par with Polk’s Surroundbar 9000 and that it will launch with an attractive price. The soundbar can be connected to the Xbox One via an optical cable.

Polk will also release its new 4 Shot headphones that are also optimized for the Xbox One gaming experience with customized profiles. In addition to the game-specific profiles Polk has also integrate general FPS, Racing, Cinema and Music profiles in both products. The small extension you see at the bottom of the headphones is the microphone that can be hidden inside the cabinet.

Polk's new Xbox One products, the N1 soundbar and the 4 Shot headphones, will launch together with the new Xbox One in November. Learn more at www.polk.com.
