Rumors about a TV product from Apple have been persistent and after a brief period of silence two prominent people, known to have connections inside Apple, hints that something is brewing. Perhaps as early as this November.

Latest rumors about Apple's TV plans
The first hint comes from MG Siegler, currently employed by Google, but known to have connections inside Apple. He says that he hears that something could happen in November. It is not necessarily an actual TV but something TV related. You can hear the discussion 1 hour and 27 minutes into the The Talk Show podcast.
- “Not to go into rumor central here but the latest things I've heard, that some sort of television product — not necessarily a television screen but something — could be coming as soon as this November. And I think there's some surprises there about what it could actually be and I don't know this for sure yet, but there's been whispers about, so I'm not going to write anything about it, but there's whispers out there that the interaction with it could be the interesting thing. People have talked about voice, but I think that that might be out the window and there might be some new way to interact with whatever this thing is.”
Sources have previously suggested that Apple will introduce an app store on the current Apple TV box and that the app SDK will be released prior to an actual TV screen to give developers a head start.

That’s the last time I try to move the Apple TV by myself… I’ve said too much.
— Jim Dalrymple (@jdalrymple) August 16, 2013

Apple has recently added more services to the Apple TV box and FlatpanelsHD also hears that Nordic TV companies have started discussions with Apple about bringing its services to the platform. Apple is not dismissive.
It should be noted that in the few months leading up to major product launches from Apple components tend to leak out. Nothing has leaked regarding a TV display so either Apple has kept its cards extremely close to its chest or no product announcement is due in the near future. Sources have previously said that Apple plans to launch a 4K TV by the end of 2013 or beginning of 2014.
