We have seen a flurry of 21:9-format monitors in the last year, and Lenovo joins the party with the new 29-inch LT2934z that will become available this October for 985 Euro.<br /><br /><h3>Lenovo’s 21:9-format LT2934z monitor</h3>Almost every monitor maker has one these days. Monitors with extra wide LCD panels in the 21:9-format, originally intended for movies, offer lots of desktop space – at least in the horizontal plane.<br /><br /><p align=center><a id="thumb" href="pictures/lenovolt2934z-1l.jpg" class="highslide" rel="highslide"><img class="imgresponsive" src="pictures/lenovolt2934z-1.jpg" alt="Lenovo LT2934z" title="Click to enlarge" /></a><br><i>Lenovo’s new 29-inch 21:9-format monitor</i></p><br />Lenovo has announced its new 29-inch LT2934z at <a href=ifa2013.php><b>IFA 2013</b></a>. It comes with the same type of AH-IPS panel as in <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1353310276><b>Dell</b></A>, <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1365062959><b>NEC</b></A>, <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1374555894><b>Asus</b></A>, <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1346397612><b>Philips</b></A>, and <a href=http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1377836705><b>LG’s</b></A> 21:9 monitors. The panel has 2560x1080 pixels, wide viewing angles, edge LED, and 100 % sRGB coverage.<br /><br />Lenovo says that the matte black monitor also comes with an integrated full HD camera, USB 3.0 & 2.0 ports, DVI, D-SUB (VGA), MHL, a dual microphone, and a PiP (picture in picture) mode.<br /><br />Lenovo’s LT2934z will be available in stores this October for 985 Euro.
