Netflix has announced a new TV series project. This time it is a psychological thriller series in 13 episodes that will debut simultaneously in all regions. Production starts in early 2014.

After House of Cards’ success, Netflix has commissioned several new TV series. Their unique approach, where every episode of the TV series is released on day 1 and at the same time in all regions has received praise and criticism from the established TV industry.

One of Netflix’s new high-profile TV projects is a psychological thriller series, which has yet to be named. The first season will include 13 episodes (1 hour each) and will be produced in collaboration with Sony Picture Television and the creators of "Damages" Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler. The series explores the wounds and emotional demons that lie at the core of a contemporary American family.

- “We were spellbound after hearing Todd, Glenn and Daniel’s pitch, and knew Netflix was the perfect home for this suspenseful family drama that is going to have viewers on the edge of their seats,” said Cindy Holland, vice president of original content for Netflix.
- “Their work on ‘Damages’ was truly ahead of its time and we’re proud to be bringing our viewers this upcoming series.”

Production of the yet-unnamed TV series will begin in early 2014.
