Seiki was one of the first TV makers to announce budget 4K TVs, and the new 55” follows that trend. It is available in the US now through Sears for $1500.
Seiki launches 55" Ultra HD TV for $1500
Seiki launched a 39” 4K TV for just $699 and a 50” for $1199 earlier this year. The latest 55” is now available for $1500. That is quite remarkable when you compare to prices on 4K TVs from major TV makers such as Sony, Samsung, and LG.
Seiki’s new 55-inch 4K TV
The new 55” 4K TV has none of the fancy smart features of other modern TVs, but simply offers an LCD panel with 3840x2160 pixels and HDMI 1.4 ports that are capable of handling 4K signals at up to 30 Hz. The TV has a thin black frame and built-in tuners. It also offers a USB port for displaying 4K photos.
Seiki’s 55” 4K TV is available now, exclusively through Sears’ stores and online, for $1500.
