Sony is following up last year’s W9 and W8 series with new “B” models. We are talking about regular Full HD TVs, but Sony is spicing it up with a new wedge design that allows room for bigger speakers.

Sony has announced its 2014 TVs and there are still Full HD models coming out from Sony. The new 2014 line-up includes the W950B and W850B TV ranges with a new wedge design that allows room for speakers that are more powerful, with clearer voice reproduction, says Sony.

The W950B has Sony’s Triluminos color technology that can reproduce larger colors gamuts, such as x.v.Color used for “Mastered in 4K Blu-rays”. The W850B does not have Triluminos, but is otherwise identical to the W950B. The 8 series will be available in 70 (KDL-70W850B) and 60 inches (KDL-60W850B). The 9 series will be available in 65 (KDL-65W950B) and 55 inches (KDL-55W950B).

Sony W600B

Sony is also released new W800B, W630B and W600B TV ranges that include Sony’s X-Reality Pro picture system and Sony’s smart features, including built-in WiFi. The W800B is largely similar to the W850B, but does not have the wedge design. It will be available in 50 and 55 inch sizes.

Sony’s 2014 TVs will be available in the spring, but no price details have been announced.
