Eizo’s two new EV2455 and EV2450 monitors have ultra-thin frames that make them suitable for side-by-side monitor setups. One of them has a 1920x1200 pixel resolution.
Eizo EV2455 and EV2450
Monitor makers are trying to get rid of the frames around monitors and the bezels are just 1 mm on both of Eizo’s new models (plus inner-borders of 5.2 and 4.3mm for EV2455 and EV2450, respectively).
You can use the monitors for multi-screen gaming setups, but none of the gaming technologies of Eizo’s Foris monitors are included. Instead, Eizo is targeting office environments, where multi-screen setups can improve productivity.
The 24-inch EV2455 has 1920x1200 pixels, whereas the 23.8-inch EV2450 has 1920x1080 pixels. Both monitors come with IPS panels with edge LED backlighting. They are also flicker-free and both incorporate an automatic brightness sensor. You can connect them via DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D or D-SUB (VGA).
Eizo EV2450 and EV2455 are available now in a choice of black or gray. More information on www.eizo.com.
