We have received Google's new Nexus Player for a full, in-depth review. The small black box is the first with Google’s promising Android TV platform that will also come to Smart TVs next year. Android TV offers apps for streaming services, games and much more.

Nexus Player received

After the spectacular failure that was Google TV, the software giant wants to start over with the Android TV platform that will be available in media streamers, game consoles and Smart TVs. Think of Android TV as Google’s TV platform, just like Android is the phone and tablet platform. Several manufacturers will release Android TV products, but only Android apps and games optimized for the big screen will be available from the TV store. We also have the game controller.
