The CX850 has a “Local Dimming Pro” system, which control the LED zones individually to increase contrast and improve black levels. It also has many of the same pictures systems as last year’s models, including Studio Master Drive and up to 98% DCI color space.

The new Smart TV platform has a revamped user interface, along with features such as voice controls, a Xumo guide that recommends new content, 4K streaming support from for example Netflix, and more.
Panasonic CX850 will be available in 55” TC-55CX850U and 65” TC-65CX850U in the US. No specific date or prices have been announced- European launch details have not been confirmed yet either.
