Most users prefer to connect their PlayStation or Xbox to a TV, but BenQ hopes that some buyers will prefer a smaller screen, so the company is launching a 27-inch monitor dubbed RL2755HM, which can be connected via HDMI. It has a 1 ms response time.
BenQ RL2755HM for console gaming
You can obviously still connect the monitor to a PC, but it was created with a game console in mind. It can be connect with one of two HDMI ports and has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, which is the same resolution used by game consoles.
BenQ claims incredible gaming performance based on a 1 ms (g2g) response time panel. However, the downside is that the monitor is based on a TN panel that sacrifices picture quality over speed. The monitor has small speakers built in, but BenQ thinks that you will prefer using a headset so they have added a small hook on the back side where you can hide the headphones after use.
The stand is made from rubber so a game controller can rest on it after play. The monitor is flicker-free, too.
BenQ RL2755HM will be available in most regions in February for about 250-300 Euro, depending on where you live.
