Fire TV stick comes to the UK
After launching the Fire TV box in 2014, Amazon released a cheaper Fire TV Stick that also offers streaming apps, but no games or voice search.
Services include Netflix, iPlayer, Amazon Prime, BBC News/Sport, Sky News, and STV Player. Amazon has plans to add more in the coming months and years as it is ramping up to compete with Apple TV, Roku, and Android TV.
Fire TV Stick will officially launch in the UK on April 15 for Ł35 but if you pre-order before March 26 you can pick it up for only Ł19. And if you also sign up for an annual Prime membership you can save an additional Ł12 as a refund (in May).
