Just in time for the new season of Game of Thrones, the HBO Now app has arrived on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. HBO Now is a stand-alone subscription service that will cost you $14.99 per month for the entire HBO catalogue.

HBO Now has launched

It is finally here; HBO’s answer to Netflix. All you need is an internet connection and – for now – an Apple device to start streaming HBO’s amazing TV series such as Game of Thrones, True Detective, The Sopranos, and many more.

HBO Now offers access to the entire content library as well as all new future shows. The service is exclusive to Apple TV and iPhone/iPad devices at launch, but should make it to other devices in a few months. You can also watch from an internet browser on any PC or Mac.

No details regarding picture quality and audio quality have been released.

HBO Now will cost $14.99 per month. If you sign up in April you get the first month for free. You can sign up via the Apple TV or iOS app.
