You can now enjoy PlayStation games on your 2015 Samsung Smart TV even if you don’t own the actual game console. Sony’s game streaming service PlayStation Now has launched on Samsung TVs running Tizen.

PlayStation Now gives you access to more than 100 PlayStation 3 games either separately or through a $20 per month subscription. Besides that, you just need a DualShock controller.

PlayStation Now

PlayStation Now is currently available on PS4, PS3, Vita, PS TV, Sony 2014 TVs, and with the latest update owners of Samsung’s new 2015 TVs. Sony says that it is “coming soon” to 2014 Samsung TVs and 2015 Sony TVs that are running “Android TV”.

The service on Samsung’s TVs supports all the standard features such as online multiplayer, cloud saves, and trophies. You can see the complete list of games here.

PlayStation Now is only available in select countries but Sony has made it clear that it is a long-term strategy for the company. Sony also intends to bring it to phones and tablets. Think of it as PlayStation without the console.
