This is the first 2015 TV from Sony on our test bench. X85C is an Ultra HD TV with Google’s new “Android TV” operating system. It is also one of the first TVs to offer the Android TV experience. If there is anything you want us to examine during the review post a comment.

Sony’s 2015 TVs are finally here. X85C is a mid-range Ultra HD TV. It does not support HDR but is packed with other features due to the built-in “Android TV” operating system. X85C has built-in Chromecast, apps, HEVC and VP9 decoding for 4K content, and a twin tuner for recording.
