- “Samsung Electronics attaining over $1 billion in monthly sales in North America shows that the Samsung has now become the most trusted and representative TV brand,” said Yoon Lee, SVP of Visual Display at Samsung.

Samsung started selling its high-end SUHD TVs – LCD TVs with quantum dot technology - this year to compete with LG’s OLED TVs. Both companies are also pushing the curved form factor hard.

The company entered the North American TV market 11 years ago and achieved $100 million in monthly sales in September 2004 and $500 in October 2007.
