UHD Blu-ray players are finally here. FlatpanelsHD has received the first of its kind in the form of Samsung UBD-K8500. The players combine 4K resolution, wide color gamut and HDR to take the viewing experience to new heights. If there is anything you want us to examine during the review post a comment.

The Blu-ray standard has evolved but even though it has been named UHD Blu-ray, many people agree that it is in fact HDR (high dynamic range) that is the star of the show. So how much better do pictures actually look and is it worth replacing your movie collection once again?
