12 May 2016 | Rasmus Larsen |

LG’s new G6 and E6 OLED ranges are now shipping in the US and Europe, according to the company. The new 2016 OLED TVs offer 4K, Dolby Vision, integrated soundbars, ultra slim designs, and webOS 3.0.

Some lucky customers have already received their 2016 OLED TV, and the first two 2016 OLED ranges are now officially available, says LG.

LG will kick off 2016 with its flagship G6 series and E6 series. G6 is available in 65” (and 77” later). E6 is available in 55 and 65” sizes. Both of the new flat OLED ranges come equipped with integrated soundbars, 4K resolution, and support for two HDR formats (HDR10 and Dolby Vision).

LG will later add the curved C6 and flat B6 ranges to the line-up. These two ranges will both be available in 55 and 65” for lower prices than the G6 and E6 ranges. LG’s C6 and B6 ranges will have the same specifications, including Dolby Vision. Follow the link for more details on LG’s 2016 TV line-up.

All four of LG’s 2016 OLED ranges also come equipped with the new webOS 3.0 platform. From here you have access to apps such as Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. Netflix is already streaming in 4K and Dolby Vision quality. Amazon is streaming in 4K and HDR10 quality and will later add Dolby Vision streams.

LG’s E6 and G6 OLED models are shipping now in the US. They are also available in some parts of Europe and should be widely available in a couple of weeks.
