FlatpanelsHD has received Sony’s new X93E / XE93 LCD TV for testing. It features 4K, HDR, and later Dolby Vision. Is there anything you would like to know?

Sony X93E received

Sony X93E in the US and XE93 in Europe is one of the high-end models of Sony’s 2017 line-up. It is a flat LCD TV with 4K resolution and support for HDR. It will later receive support for Dolby Vision via a firmware update. It also comes with Android TV, twin-tuner and built-in Chromecast.

Sony X93E will be available in 55 and 65” sizes in the US and Europe. There will also be a 75” X94E but be aware that it differs from X93E as it is equipped with backlit LED.
