The new mobile app from Loewe will replace the two current apps. Loewe App offers a TV guide, streaming, remote recording, and other features on your phone and tablet.

Loewe App for smartphone & tablet

The new ’Loewe App’ will replace both former apps called 'Loewe Smart Assist App' and 'Loewe Smart tv2move'. It is designed to elevate the TV experience by moving key features to the mobile screen.

The app first and foremost allows members of the family to watch TV channels on phones and tablets as long as the devices are connected to the same home network as the Loewe television.

- “The new Loewe app gives them easy access to all television content using their smartphone or tablet. It’s simple and intuitive. And its design mirrors the new clearly structured “Loewe os” TV user interface,” the company said.

Remote recording, TV controls, more

Besides allowing you to stream TV content to the mobile screen, the app can control Loewe TVs in your home. On the smartphone and tablet you have a TV program guide for the next 7 days.

It is also possible to watch recorded content, stored on the TV, on mobile devices. Lastly, the company emphasized that it is possible to schedule recordings on the TV via a phone or tablet regardless of whether you are home or on the go.

For Android and iOS

The Loewe App is available on Apple iOS and Google Android. It requires iOS 8.0 or later and Android 5.0 or later.

Loewe adds that setup is easy since the app automatically recognizes Loewe TVs on the same home network. You can select different languages in the app.

Loewe App works with Loewe TVs based on chassis SL2xxx and newer. It also requires the latest TV software.
