FlatpanelsHD has received Samsung’s Q9F (F for flat), which is the 2017 LCD flagship that is marketed as “QLED”. What do you want to know?

Samsung Q9F

Q9 – or Q9F – is the new flagship LCD TV from Samsung and is the first flat flagship from Samsung in three years. It features 4K resolution, HDR, and the latest version of the Tizen TV operating system. The company says that peak brightness reaches 2000 nits, which should improve HDR picture quality.

Samsung Q9 will be available in 65 and 75” sizes in the US, and 65 and 88” sizes in Europe. We are testing the 65” version.
