‘Bild 3’ is Loewe’s fifth OLED TV range with Dolby Vision – and the most affordable yet. The bild 3 range also consists of two smaller LCD models.
Loewe ’bild 3’ TVs
At IFA, Loewe added yet another member to its family of OLED TVs that already encompasses bild 9, bild 7, bild 5, and bild 4. The new ‘bild 3’ will be the German company’s most affordable OLED yet. Loewe now has a line-up of OLED TVs as comprehensive as LG’s.
It is not common to mix two different display technologies in the same range but that is nevertheless what Loewe has done. The 55-inch version of the bild 3 TVs is based on OLED technology, whereas the 43 and 49-inch models are based on LCD.
- “Loewe bild 3.55 oled is the entry-level model for state-of-the-art OLED technology. It looks extremely light and understated thanks to the 4.9 mm ultra-flat OLED screen, which is thinner than most smartphones – despite its remarkable 55 inches,” the company said.
Despite being cheaper, the 55-inch bild 3 OLED still features 4K resolution as well as support for three HDR formats; HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
The TVs also feature Loewe’s smart functionality, including apps for some popular video streaming services as well as music services such as Tidal. There is no built-in hard drive but you can gain recording functionality by connecting an external USB hard drive – or by paying extra for Loewe’s DR+ functionality.
Loewe bild 3 will be available in Europe starting this September. You can select from table stand, floor stand or wall-mount solutions.
