Panasonic’s 2018 OLED TVs will be considerably cheaper than last year’s models. The FZ802 starts at £2299 and the FZ952 starts at £2499.
2018 Panasonic OLED TVs
Panasonic was the first company to launch an OLED TV after LG but it was also one of the most expensive TVs at the time. Last year, the company took a big step down the price ladder, and in 2018 it appears that Panasonic will try to compete head-to-head with LG.
Panasonic’s most affordable FZ802 OLED TV will, in the UK, start at £2299 for a 55-inch model. The 65-inch FZ802 will cost £3499.
Panasonic's FZ952 adds a more powerful ’Blade Speaker’ to the package and will set you back £2499 and £3999 for the 55 and 65-inch versions, respectively.
Both OLED TV ranges feature 4K resolution and support for HDR10+. They also come equipped with Panasonic’s HCX video processor and have several tweaks that we covered here.
We have seen prices in Euro for some other regions in Europe and you can expect similar price cuts compared to the 2017 generation in your region. Panasonic's 2018 OLED TVs are also known as FZ950 and FZ800 as well as FZW954 and FZW804. The TVs will not be available in the US.
