Vizio has released a teaser image for a new 2018 TV (or TVs?) that is “coming April 10”. The same teaser is shown front and center on the company’s website.
Vizio in 2018
What is Vizio planning for 2018? We have no juicy rumors for you but it seems that we will have to wait only a few more days to find out.

”New in 2018. Coming April 10,” the front page of vizio.com reads.
It is accompanying by this picture, which obviously shows a new TV with a separate soundbar underneath.

The company has been going through a rough period recently. In July 2016, China’s LeEco
announced plans to acquire Vizio for $2 billion dollars but the sale
fell through in 2017. Last year’s models were more or less continuations of the 2016 models under a new name. Vizio has also tried to pivot to pure Chromecast-based TVs without a user interface but had to revert.
So is this something genuinely new or more of the same? Is Vizio finally preparing to bring OLED technology into its line-up or will it double down on its full array local dimming LCD TVs? Your guess is as good as ours. All will be revealed on April 10.
