Apple has launched AirPlay 2 and published a list of audio products that will support AirPlay 2 following a firmware update in the near future. Bang & Olufsen, Denon, Marantz, and Sonos will be amongst the first products.

Speakers with AirPlay 2
Besides Apple’s HomePod, a range of other speakers will support AirPlay 2. Bang & Olufsen has the most comprehensive line-up with a total of ten products ranging from affordable BeoPlay speakers to luxury Bang & Olufsen products.
Sonos has confirmed that AirPlay 2 will be added only to Sonos One, Play:5, and Playbase. Denon, Libratone, Marantz, and Naim have also detailed their plans.
Apple previously said that Bose, Devialet, Beats, Polk, McIntosh, B&W, Definitive Technology, and Bluesound are working on integrating AirPlay 2. The exact details have yet to be confirmed so they are currently not found on the official list.
Since Apple has now officially launched Airplay 2, we expect launch partners to soon start announcing details about their roll-out plans.
