FlatpanelsHD has received the FALD version of Samsung Q8, dubbed Q8FN in the US and Q8DN in Europe. It uses a scaled-down zone-dimming backlight compared to the flagship Q9FN. What do you want to know?

Samsung Q8 FALD

Samsung Q8FN in the US and Q8DN in Europe uses a full array local dimming backlight to improve picture quality. The more affordable LCD TV has fewer dimming zones than the Q9FN flagship. It also offers 4K resolution and HDR but lacks the external One Connect box.
