Disney's streaming service has arrived on Vizio TVs but the app is supported only on models from 2016 or later. It supports 4K HDR streaming
Disney+ on Vizio TVs
Disney+ launched in November 2019 and owners of Vizio TVs in North America can now access the streaming service directly from the TV's apps row. Until now, Vizio owners were relegated to using Disney+ via AirPlay 2 or Chromecast.
- "The stories you love, whenever you want! Disney+ is Now Available on Vizio SmartCast. You can find Disney+ in the SmartCast apps row," the company announced.

Disney+ offers streaming access to movies and TV series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm (Star Wars) and National Geographic. The app for Vizio TVs supports streaming in up to 4K HDR quality. There is no mention of Dolby Atmos support.
Vizio is a little late to the game and Disney+ will be supported only on Vizio TV from 2016 or later (with SmartCast Home) - much like LG and Samsung. The launch of Disney+ is just the latest example of the Smart TV update problem.
Disney+ is a $7 per month subscription service. Since launch about 3 months ago, it has amassed almost 30 million subscribers.
