Canvas unveiled its first product in August 2019 in the form of a sound system designed for LG OLED TVs. The company describes it as "an entirely new A/V product category we call Audiostand". The Canvas Audiostrand can transform an LG OLED TV into a "real HiFi sound system with 3D stereo imaging" achieved by 'Bacch 3D' technology, the company said. Canvas will also work with any other TV but not as a fully integrated solution. It is a floor-standing unit but there is an optional wall mount available. Besides delivering powerful TV sound via HDMI ARC, Canvas features AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth for music. There is a storage chamber large enough for an Apple TV, Roku or Amazon FireTV box. The company sees its Audiostand as a HiFi alternative to soundbars from mainstream brands like Samsung and Sony. The original goal was to launch the crowdfunding campaign in October 2019 but it was delayed to February 2020. Starting this week, you can pre-order the Canvas Audiostand for $999 (55") before shipping costs. Shipping is estimated to start in September 2020. The front cover for Canvas is available in different colors and is interchangeable. The crowdfunding campaign can be found on
