Apple is bringing its music streaming service to Samsung TVs but the Apple Music app is supported only on Smart TVs from 2018 or later.
Only for some Samsung TVs
Samsung highlights that "it is the first TV brand to integrate Apple Music on its Smart TV platform", meaning the company's Tizen platform.
Samsung has used Tizen in its TVs since 2015 but the Apple Music app will be available only on Tizen-based Samsung TVs from 2018 or later. The company still refuses to provide Tizen software updates; 2017 models are stuck on Tizen 3.0, 2018 models on Tizen 4.0 etc.

- "Last year, we were the first TV manufacturer to offer the Apple TV app, and today, we are the first to offer Apple Music. Our partnership with Apple has been instrumental in bringing consumers an unparalleled lineup of different entertainment options, especially as they seek out more content choices from their Smart TVs," said Salek Brodsky, VP of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, Samsung.
With Apple Music users in over 100 countries have access to more than 60 million songs, music videos, concerts, curated playlists, and more. It is a music streaming service so it requires an internet connection to access on TVs.
Samsung is the first TV maker to offers access to Apple's music service. At this time, no other partners have been announced but given how Apple has been rolling out AirPlay 2, HomeKit, and the Apple TV app, we expect to see more partners announced in the near future. Apple Music is also available on the Apple TV box.
Samsung TV owners can try Apple Music free for 3 months with a new individual, family or student subscription.
