Over the last couple of weeks, Samsung has been rolling outs its 2020 TVs in the US and Europe. Most models are now readily available, with some additional models and sizes planned for later this year.
Samsung 2020 TVs
Samsung has launched a comprehensive 2020 line-up of new LCD TVs under its "QLED" branding, with 4K or 8K resolution and with or without full array local dimming (FALD).
The many 8K and 4K LCD TVs have been rolling out in the US and Europe over the last couple of weeks. Smaller and larger TV sizes will arrive available later this year, the company said. The 4K models range from affordable mid-range to semi high-end whereas 8K models remain expensive while the dearth of 8K content continues.
Other features in Samsung's 2020 TVs include the Tizen platform with access to streaming apps, a single HDMI 2.1 port, optional HDMI 2.1 features, HDR10+ support, and Apple AirPlay 2. Samsung still shies away from Dolby Vision and Atmos. Many more details can be found by following the link below where you can also compare features.
