Samsung has launched a comprehensive 2020 line-up of new LCD TVs under its "QLED" branding, with 4K or 8K resolution and with or without full array local dimming (FALD). The many 8K and 4K LCD TVs have been rolling out in the US and Europe over the last couple of weeks. Smaller and larger TV sizes will arrive available later this year, the company said. The 4K models range from affordable mid-range to semi high-end whereas 8K models remain expensive while the dearth of 8K content continues.
