At WWDC 2020 during the presentation of tvOS 14, Apple TV+ gave us a first look at its Foundation series based on Isaac Asimov's science fiction books.

Isaac Asimov's Foundation series of books are considered to be some of the best science fiction novels to date. Others have tried to bring them to life on the big screen but have ultimately given up. Now it is Apple's turn.

- "Based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, Foundation chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire," said Apple.

At WWDC 2020, Apple TV+ released a teaser trailer for Foundation.




Foundation stars Jared Harris as Hari Seldon, Lee Pace as Brother Day, and Lou Llobell as Gaal.

It will premiere on Apple TV+ sometime in 2021.
