List: Everything coming to Star on Disney+

Disney+ has revealed all of the movies and series that will be available in the new Star section on February 23. On the same date, Disney+ will hike its subscription price.

Star on Disney+

Disney Europe has revealed its plans for Star, a new section for grown-ups coming to Disney+ on February 23, 2021. It will include content from Disney TV, FX, ABC Signature, Searchlight and 20th Century Studios, which Disney acquired as part of 21st Century Fox. Star will offer movies such as Die Hard, Deadpool 2, Pretty Woman, Borat, Braveheart , Titanic, The Martian, Kingsman: The Secret Service, The X-Files, The Shape of Water, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri. However, there will be regional differences. For example, Germany will have Predator at launch whereas the UK will not. Some titles are still locked up in rights deals with other services and will be added to Star on Disney+ later in 2021 or 2022.


Star on Disney+ will also have TV series like Lost, Homeland, 24, Family Guy, Modern Family, American Dad, How I met Your Mother, Americans, Sons of Anarchy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Scandal, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives. New original Star content includes Big Sky, Solar Opposites and Hellstrom. Later this year, it will premiere originals like The Drop Out, Dopesick, The Old Man, The Platform and Only Murders in the Building. In the table below, we have included all of the titles coming to Star on Disney+ in the UK on launch date. As mentioned, there will be regional differences. The new Star section on Disney+ is intended for mature audiences and parents will be given tools to restrict access, including a PIN code tool. Disney+ offers streaming in up to 4K Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.

Price increase

On the same day, February 23, 2021, Disney will increase its subscription price as outlined below. Existing subscribers will keep their current price for six months.
