Following last month's additions, Microsoft has enabled 'FPS Boost' for another 74 games. There are now 42 Xbox games with 120fps boost support.
Almost 100 games
Microsoft introduced FPS Boost on Xbox Series X and Series S in February. The new feature is designed to nearly double the frame rate of existing Xbox games by utilizing the extra power in the new generation of consoles.
The official list now includes almost 100 Xbox games that get a boost to either 60fps or 120fps on Xbox Series X and Series S, of which 42 titles are listed with 120fps support.
- "Today, we released our largest drop of games featuring FPS Boost to date, bringing the total titles boosted to 97, many of which are included in Xbox Game Pass and EA Play," announced Microsoft.
FPS Boost can the reduce the game's resolution and in such cases the feature is turned off by default. It can be activated manually: 'Click on the game title -> Manage Game and add-ons -> Compatibility options -> FPS Boost'. To check if you are using FPS Boost simply press the Xbox button on the controller in-game.
