Space Marshals 3 is the Apple TV game of the year and Fantasian is the Apple Arcade game of the year, according to Apple. Sports service Dazn was honored as the best Apple TV app.

Every year, Apple recognizes the best apps and games on its platorms, and a couple of years ago Apple TV was added to the mix. Users can connect PlayStation, Xbox, and other controllers to the small black box to play games.

Fantasian, which is developed by Mistwalker by the creator of Final Fantasy, was honored as 2021's best game on Apple Arcade, which is Apple's game subscription service for Apple TV, iPad, iPhone and Mac. It is a Japanese role-playing game in two parts, and an Apple Arcade exclusive.

Apple Arcade costs $5 dollars per month for access to over 200 games, most of which work on Apple TV. The library is a mix of mobile games and console games, although not the most advanced console games as the hardware of Apple TV poses limitations.

Space Marshals 3, developed by Pixelbite, was recognized as game of the year for Apple TV. It is free to download and try but the full game will cost you $8 dollars. It is a 'sci-fi western adventure'.

Streaming sports service Dazn, which is a newcomer in many markets, was named the best app for Apple TV in 2021. In some regions Dazn has the rights to major soccer leagues but in many other regions it offers live streaming of boxing events only.
