Apple's streaming service, Apple TV+, is now available on 2017-2021 Panasonic OLED and LCD TVs with the My Home Screen platform in Europe.
Update 25.10.2022: The Apple TV+ app now supports Dolby Vision on Panasonic TVs.

In September, Panasonic TVs gained Disney+ and starting today you can also enjoy Apple TV+ on your Panasonic TVs from the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 generations (EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX, JZ, JX models).

Apple TV+ and Disney+ were the two big streaming services missing on Panasonic TVs so it great to see Panasonic close the gap.

- "Apple TV+ is now available in Europe on 4K Panasonic TVs from 2017 onwards which feature the My Home Screen operating system," announced Panasonic Europe. "On all compatible TVs, the Apple TV+ app icon will become visible in the Application view and on some models the icon will also be placed on the Home Screen, allowing viewers to enjoy Apple TV+ content with the “true to the creators’ intent” picture quality Panasonic is known for."

The app offers access to Apple TV+ documentaries, movies and series like Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Finch, and The Shrink Next Door. It does not offer access to the iTunes library of movies or Apple TV channels – much like the app that recently came to some older LG and Samsung models.

Titles play in 4K HDR10.

- "At this point, Dolby Vision is not supported. However, we are investigating compatibility and may make subsequent announcements in the future," Panasonic said in a statement to FlatpanelsHD.
