Netflix unveils 2022 movie slate: A new release every single week

In a big announcement, Netflix has confirmed over 70 new movies for 2022 including Knives Out 2, The Gray Man, Enola Holmes 2 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Following up on a packed 2021, Netflix will once again drop at least one new movie every single week of 2022 spanning genres like action, adventure, sci-fi, drama, comedy, horror, animated and romance. - "There’s a great big world of new stories waiting to be discovered. This year the Netflix Film universe is expanding with brand new comedies, action-thrillers, mysteries, dramas, sequels and more…dropping every single week," the company said. Netflix highlighted titles like The Gray Man (action) starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, The Mothership (sci-fi adventure) with Halle Berry, Knives Out 2 (mystery comedy) starring Daniel Craig, and Enola Holmes 2 (adventure) with Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill. Some of the movies will get a short and limited run in theaters in some regions but other than that you can expect them to debut worldwide on Netflix in up to 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. As part of the announcement Netflix released a movie preview trailer, which is embedded below together with a full list of confirmed titles.
