The first 97-inch OLED TV comes with a high price tag of 25000 Euro, LG has confirmed to FlatpanelsHD. The 97-inch LG G2 will be available in the second half of 2022.
First 97" 4K OLED TV
Earlier this week, FlatpanelsHD attended an LG launch event where we had a chance to see and try many of the 2022 TVs – report coming soon. The 97-inch was not on display but LG did reveal the price.
In Europe, the 97-inch LG G2 will launch in the second half of the year for 25000 Euro, plus/minus depending on your region. US pricing will be announced later and although we expect the USD price to come in slightly lower, it should still be in the same ballpark.

The price tag is much higher than expected, especially compared to 77-inch and 83-inch 4K OLED TVs that are starting to look more like alternatives to 75- and 85-inch premium 4K LCD TVs.

LG's first 97-inch OLED is huge...ly expensive
LG Display will be able to significantly reduce the production costs of large-sized OLED panels when its new 10.5-generation factory comes online. The project has been postponed multiple times and the 10.5G factory is reportedly expected to open in 2025 at the earliest.
LG Display is currently producing all OLED TV panels at its two 8.5G factories in Paju, South Korea, and Guangzhou, China, respectively. These panels go into OLED TVs from around 20 brands including Bang & Olufsen, Changhong, Grundig, Hisense, Konka, Metz, LG Electronics, Loewe, Panasonic, Philips (TP Vision), Skyworth, Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Vizio, and Xiaomi.
