Sneak peek at Philips' high-end 2022 OLED TVs, 907 and 937

Philips OLED907 and OLED937 have broken cover. OLED937 features an improved Bowers & Wilkins sound system with both up-firing and side-firing drivers for Dolby Atmos.

2022 Philips flagship TVs

Both TVs have been honored with a Red Dot design award and to celebrate Philips has given the world a sneak peek even though the OLED907 and OLED937 models will no be formally introduced until later this year. Philips OLED907 features an integrated Bowers & Wilkins sound system wrapped in a fabric cover and with a subwoofer embedded into the backcover. The remote control is wrapped in leather on both sides and rear surface. It has a center-aligned aluminum swivel stand and confirmed sizes are 48, 55 and 65 inches. - "The surprisingly small stand footprint in satin dark metal is achieved by having a non-visible rear stability bar which allow the TV to swivel for a great user experience," said TP Vision (Philips).

Philips OLED937 features a separated Bowers & Wilkins sound system designed for Dolby Atmos as well as 4-sided Ambilight, in addition to the leather remote control and fabric speaker cover. It has been confirmed only in a 77-inch size. - "For 2022 the sound system has added, on top of upfiring Atmos speakers, side firing drivers visualized by the angled metal speaker plates. The detailing of the holes in the plan echo the central exposed tweeter mesh which is a reference to the Bowers & Wilkins own speaker detailing. The finishing on all metal parts are a move away from full chrome with a satin aluminium finish to easily fit into modern homes," the company said.

Earlier this year, Philips confirmed that its upcoming OLED807 will feature the new brighter and more efficient OLED EX panel. No further details were provided in regard to OLED907 and OLED937 so we will have to wait for confirmation regarding OLED EX and other features. Both models expected to run Android TV.
