LG is taking OLED to the next level with its 45-inch UltraGear 45GR95QE. The curved OLED gaming monitor has 3440x1440 resolution in 21:9 aspect ratio.
Current OLED TVs and OLED monitors max out at 120Hz or 175Hz so not only is LG's new 45GR95QE the first of its kind, it is also an exciting next step for OLED technology which may indicate that LG is also preparing to move its TVs beyond 120Hz in the near future.
- "Our brand-new UltraGear OLED gaming monitor elevates the gaming experience with its curved screen, anti-glare solution, and ultra-fast 240Hz refresh rate," said Seo Young-jae, SVP and head of IT business, LG Electronics.

It is a curved (800R) OLED panel in 21:9 aspect ratio with 3440x1440 resolution. It has a response time specification of 0.1 ms (g2g) which combined with a 240Hz refresh rate should make motion look significantly sharper and feel more responsive than pm a 240Hz LCD monitor – and maybe even higher-rated LCD monitors.
At the same time you are getting a panel capable of delivering true HDR in games and movies, and a wide color gamut of 98.5% DCI-P3. LG 45GR95QE supports HDR10. Peak brightness was not specified. It is most likely an LG Display OLED panel but we are chasing confirmation.
LG UltraGear 45GR95QE will be showcased for the first time at IFA 2022 next week in FlatpanelsHD will be in Berlin to report home so look forward to more details.
