Roku introduces 2022 Roku Express and Roku Wireless Bass

Roku has a refreshed Express streaming stick and an all-new Wireless Bass which is a subwoofer that can be connected to Roku TVs and soundbars.

Like Amazon, Apple and Google, Roku has not introduced major hardware upgrades for a while. The 2022 Roku Express also remains largely unchanged but has gained dual-band WiFi for improved connectivity. It still supports all of the popular streaming services including Prime Video, Apple TV app, Disney+, HBO Max and Netflix.

It is available for pre-order from roku.com for $30 with shipping in the US expected to start on October 13.

The Roku Wireless Bass is a subwoofer that can be paired with a Roku Streambar, Roku Wireless Speakers or Roku TV Wireless Soundbar for improved bass. The company launched its first wireless subwoofer in 2019 but the new one is more compact, according to the description.
