LG Display is planning to start production of a 27-inch OLED panel by the end of October and a 32-inch panel later this quarter. The first monitors are expected to arrive in early 2023.
LG Display, which supplies more than 20 brands with its WOLED panels, is aggressively increasing the production of medium-sized OLED panels for small TVs and monitors, according to a report by Korean newspaper Hankooki.
- "LG Display plans to increase the production of 27-inch panels, especially from the mid-size W-OLED panel, from the fourth quarter of this year to next year," an industry official told Hankooki.
The 27-inch OLED panel will reportedly enter production as early as this month and LG Electronics is expected to launch a 27-inch OLED gaming monitor in the first quarter of 2023.
In addition, LG Display is planning to start production of a 32-inch OLED panel later this year and increase production of 42-inch OLED panels in the near future.

LG Electronics currently sells 27-inch and 32-inch 'Ultra Fine OLED Pro' monitors but these are equipped with panels from Japan's JOLED. In August 2022, LG Electronics unveiled a 45-inch OLED monitor equipped with a panel from LG Display – seemingly one of the first results of LG Display's plans for mid-sized OLEDs.
If the timeline holds true, we would expect new OLED monitors to be unveiled at CES 2023 in January
