Philips 2022 flagship OLED and miniLED LCD TVs are now available

Philips' new 9-series flagship TVs, which were unveiled in August, are now available in the UK, Germany, and other European countries. Two OLED models and one miniLED LCD model.

OLED907 and OLED937 are equipped with what Philips calls "Royal" OLED EX (except 48") which is the latest generation of the LG Display WOLED panel with a custom heatsink. They can reach up to 1300 nits of peak brightness, according to the company. In addition, the TVs come with 3.1- and 5.1.2-channel B&W speakers, respectively.

PML9507 is an LCD TV model with miniLED zone dimming. For the first time from Philips miniLED LCD is now available in 55 inches.

The two OLED models feature the 6th generation P5 video processor while the LCD model features the 5th generation. All three come with a new generation of Ambilight with improved precision and an Aurora gallery function. Additional features include Android TV, HDMI 2.1 ports, built-in Chromecast, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and a wireless DTS Play-Fi audio platform.
